Meatzzaa - Keto pizza in 30 mins
Meatzza! A meat crust pizza. This one is a meat lover's delight. And, its very easy to make. 30 minutes from meat to pizza. :-)
Ingredients:
Minced meat - 200 gms (I use minced mutton)
Salt - 1/2 tsp
Garlic powder - 1/2 tsp (optional)
Dried herbs of your choice(optional) I usually use oregano and rosemary.
Method:
Preheat the over to 200c/400F
Mix all the ingredients until they are nicely incorporated.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper and dump the mix onto the tray. Spread the mix into a thin crust using a spatula. Spread it to about quarter inch thickness without any holes in the crust. Aim for as big a crust as you can spread. As the crust gets baked, the fat will render out and the crust will shrink.
Bake the crust for about 20 mins. I got a crust the size of a personal pizza with 200 gms of minced mutton. It will not look pretty as the rendered fat gets charred. But, who cares about the looks here?!
Once done, bring the crust out and load it with your preferred sauce, toppings and cheese. I prefer to load this pizza with veggies for toppings as the crust is all meat. My favorite veggie toppings are olives, jalapenos, bell peppers and mushrooms.
Take the pizza back to the oven and bake for another 10 mins. Change the oven to broil mode for the last 5 mins so that the cheese melts nicely and the veggies get crispy.
Slice it up and enjoy your own personal meatzza! The entire thing is done in 30 mins which includes about 25 mins of passive baking time. Totally my kinda meal!
